1. Significance of the Privacy Policy
PlaytStudio (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) collects users' personal information to provide the Raising Abyss Knight service (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”).
The Company places great importance on users’ personal information and complies with relevant laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act and those that apply to information and communication service providers. Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs users about how their personal information is used, the purposes for which it is collected, and the measures in place to protect it. The Privacy Policy is made available for users to review at any time via “Settings > Account > Privacy Policy” in the game.
If the Privacy Policy is revised, the Company will notify users at least seven (7) days in advance through in-game announcements, and the revised policy will take effect after seven (7) days. However, for significant changes such as updates to the purpose of data collection or sharing with third parties, the Company will notify users thirty (30) days in advance, and the changes will take effect after thirty (30) days. The revised policy will be clearly communicated to users through in-game announcements.
2. Personal Information Collected
The Company collects only the minimum personal information required to provide basic services during membership registration, service use, product payment, and customer support.
Users may refuse to provide their personal information, but in such cases, some or all features of the Service may not be available.
Information provided by users during membership registration:
Email, Password, CI (Connection Information)
Information automatically collected during service use:
Data related to interactions with other users, such as friend and guild information
Usage data including content consumed, features used, and user behavior
Data recorded during in-app purchases, such as order number, product name, payment amount, payment method, and payment date
Device-related data, including OS, hardware version, software version, browser type, device ID, language, IP address, cookies, and store information
Information collected during customer support inquiries:
Email address, purchased product name, purchase date
Collection Methods:
Personal information is collected when users agree to the terms and directly provide the information during registration or service use.
During customer support interactions via web pages, email, or phone.
Offline during events or seminars via consent forms.
Automatically generated data (e.g., cookies) may be collected during the use of PC web or mobile apps. Users can manage cookie settings through their web browser.
3. Use of Collected Personal Information
The Company uses personal information for the following purposes:
Verifying membership, age, and parental consent
Managing user identification, account termination, and other membership processes
Improving existing services and developing new features through demographic analysis, visit and usage records, and user interest data
Preventing misuse, unauthorized access, and fraud; issuing notifications about policy changes; and resolving disputes
Authenticating identity for paid services, processing payments, and delivering purchased goods
Providing marketing, promotional events, and tailored advertisements with separate user consent
Enhancing the security of the service environment
Personal information may also be anonymized and processed for statistical, scientific, or public purposes. Anonymized data is stored and managed separately to prevent re-identification.
4. Sharing and Delegation of Personal Information
The Company does not use or share personal information beyond the stated purposes without user consent, except in the following cases:

6. User Rights
Users can access, update, or delete their information through “My Info > Member Info” in the game. Withdrawal of consent and account termination can also be requested via “Settings > Account > Customer Support.”
7. Security Measures
The Company implements technical and administrative measures to protect user information, including encryption, access controls, and staff training.
